MA: I was good at it!

EC: My friends all played the sport and I love the team spirit it brings!

KH: My sister played it at uni and said it was fun, so I thought I’d try it too. I also wanted to meet new people.

What does #TeamWarwick mean to you?

EM: Team Warwick means being able to represent your club, but on behalf of the entire university sports body. You are part of the bigger community of players all supporting each other to achieve.

AG: I love being part of a group of competitive individuals and teams who share the same drive to win for Warwick.

EC: The university-wide coming together of sports – on the POP! dancefloor as well as the pitch!

KH: It represents loads of people who are all into different sports but getting along, celebrating each others’ successes and keeping up fitness.

Do you have any pre-game/competition rituals?

EM: We always chant our team chant, and I smack my shin pads twice with my stick before the whistle gets blown and the game begins.

AG: “Warwick” on the “1-2, 1-2, WARWICK.”

MA: Eating a banana!

EC: Re-tying my shoelaces – safety first, always xo.
