Leamington Parade Closure

The Parade in Leamington Spa is set to be closed to traffic for the rest of October due to roadworks.

The Parade will be closed from the junction with Clarendon Avenue as far down as Regent Street with diversions being set up through Regent Grove and Clarendon Street heading north and the A452 on to Dale Street heading South.

Clarendon Avenue, from the mini roundabout near Christchurch Gardens on Kenilworth Road to the top of Tavistock Street, will also be closed.

There will also be short duration road closures of Warwick Street at the junction with The Parade.

The works will be carried out under a 24-hour full road closure, although there will be controlled traffic management off peak (from 9:30-15:30) on Clarendon Avenue.  

Pedestrian access will be cordoned off, but access to shops and frontages will remain open at all times.

The SU has advised that students travelling to campus from Leamington should be aware of the diversion, and has made a list of upcoming diversions and roadworks available on its website.
