Cinderella The Opera – Opera Warwick
Opera Warwick are launching their big screenings once again with “Cinderella the Opera”. For more details, see below.
In January 2013, Opera Warwick amazed its audiences with a sell-out run of its “immensely fun” production of Rossini’s La Cenerentola!
In April 2013, Opera Warwick became the first student society to be asked to return to the Warwick Arts Centre theatre for another sell-out rerun of this orange, obscene and outrageous masterpiece and were once again met with 5 star reviews!
But it doesn’t stop there….
This week opera will once again be given a 21st century Essex makeover as Opera Warwick’s “Cinderella the Opera” descends on the Piazza Big Screen!
On Friday 10th October at 4PM we will be holding a screening of the professional recording which was made of our fabulous production.
Whether you missed the show the first two times or even if you saw every night of both runs of Cinderella, the combination of a cutting-edge English translation, live video projection, a full orchestra, fierce dance cast and a considerable amount of bronzer combined with the incredible talent of our singers means that this is not something you want to miss!.
Brace yourselves for a playful adaptation that’ll keep you smiling long past the stroke of midnight!
