Gas leak at WBS

A gas leak occurred in the vicinity of Warwick Business School (WBS) on Monday 21 October.

The building was evacuated in the mid-afternoon, with WBS posting on their Twitter feed at 3.28pm: “Gas leak at WBS. Building closed for the rest of the day. Please do not attempt to enter!”

The gas leak was “resolved” by 4.05pm, the University stated on their website.

“There will be further work on site by gas technicians tonight,” the report said, “but it is expected that everything will be reopened as normal tomorrow.”

It is not yet clear what caused the leak.
