Student death near Claycroft

The Boar regrets to report the death of Pragya Mehrotra, a postgraduate student in the School of Law.

She graduated from the National Law School of India in 2008 and was working to earn a Masters degree following the LLM in International Development Law and Human Rights at Warwick.

Mehrotra was found close to the Claycroft residences on Friday the 28th of December. The Police do not regard her death as suspicious, and are not looking to speak to anyone else.

Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Thrift said: “Pragya had been part of our University family for just two months but in that short time had made many friends in the student and staff community. We are all saddened by this tragic news.”
