Warwick skydivers aim higher

After the success of last year’s Great Warwick Jump, Warwick Skydiving have more than doubled their fundraising target to £50,000.

The Great Warwick Jump, started last year by Nick Ellison and Robert Smith, is a weekend-long event where students participate in a sponsored skydive to raise money for charity. Last year it raised over £20,000 for charity, becoming the number one charity event at the University of Warwick. With their goal to more than double this total this year, the skydivers hope to become one of the biggest charity events in the country.

Sign-up for Great Warwick Jump 2009 is now open, with the Sabbatical Officers, Warwick Volunteers, RAG and Lacrosse all pre-registering interest.
