The Students’ Union was awarded Silver Standard in the Sound Environmental Impact Awards on 7 April.
This is the first time the SU has qualified for this award, which is an accreditation scheme that aims to inspire students’ unions to be greener. Seventy-nine unions entered in the third year of this programme.
Founder and judge Anna Heywood said of Warwick SU, “[they] have surpassed themselves… I feel really proud of how far they’ve come”
