BREAKING: Incident outside the Warwick Students’ Union

An incident has occurred outside the Warwick Students’ Union, where police cars, ambulances and an air ambulance arrived on campus. 

The incident occurred at 2:30pm today, and students who were in the upper SU atrium, as well as the surrounding areas in the Piazza and the Bread Oven were evacuated.

The University commented: “A person found in the University of Warwick Students’ Union needing urgent medical support has been taken by paramedics to nearby health facilities for treatment.

The situation is under control and there is no risk to the health and safety of those in and around the Student Union building or beyond.”
