Man pronounced dead at Lord Bhattacharyya Building

A man who was in critical condition died at the Lord Bhattacharyya Building on Thursday (December 2).

Two ambulances, a critical care car, and an air ambulance arrived at the Lord Bhattacharyya Building at the time of the incident at around 13:20.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance Service spoke to the Coventry Telegraph: “We were called to reports of a medical emergency on Lord Bhattacharyya Way at 1.07pm.

“Two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance Critical Care Car attended the scene.

“Sadly, despite everyone’s best efforts, it became apparent nothing could be done to save the man and he was confirmed deceased at the scene.”

The University of Warwick has been contacted for comment.
