Incident at Lord Bhattacharyya Building

There was an incident at the Prof. Lord Bhattacharyya Building on campus earlier today.

Multiple ambulances and a Warwick community support vehicle arrived outside the building at around 13:20. One of the ambulances belonged to an air ambulance critical care team.

A police car arrived on the scene about ten minutes later.

A number of staff members reported being turned away at the entrance to the building.

Someone was removed from the building at 14:06 on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance, where they received further treatment.
