Ellen Holmes elected as Warwick SU Welfare Officer

Ellen Holmes has been elected as Welfare and Campaigns Officer at Warwick Students’ Union for the next academic year.

She beat two other candidates, Sara Boiten and Naomi Hyde, winning 57% against Sara in the final round.

Ellen has been a member of the SU’s Welfare Exec this year, and independently created and ran a Self-Harm Awareness Day at Warwick.

Some of her main manifesto points are for themed mental health days, a safe taxi scheme, and an eat well campaign.
