Marissa Beatty elected as Societies Officer

Marissa Beatty has been elected as Warwick SU Societies Officer for 2016/17.

She won with 56.9% of the vote.

Farrah Burke came second place.

Matthew Bennett came third in the voting.

Re-open nominations placed last.

Marissa, current Chair of Societies Exec, focused her manifesto on a societies app, increase accessibility and diversity, and introduce a multi-year societies federation.

Marissa commented: “Thank you all so much for voting.

“Farrah and Matt have been so supportive the whole week.

“I did the most I could throughout the week.”
