Becky Gittins elected as Democracy Officer

Becky Gittins has been elected as Warwick SU Democracy and Development Officer for 2016/17.

She won with 58.8% of votes.

Matt Greenham came second.

Becky, current Chairperson and Women’s Officer for a prominent (but unnamed) society, has focused her manifesto on an SU app for voting, better transport and housing, and a campus food bank.

Becky commented: “I’ve enjoyed getting to know my fellow candidates.”

On working with her team, she questioned: “how many thank-you cards will I have to write?”
