There were violent clashes during a Free Education protest at Senate house at approximately 5pm today.
It is understood that the student protesters were occupying the Senate House building before police came in to disrupt the protest due to an alleged assault.
Three arrests were made and CS gas and tasers were reportedly used. There were claims that University security was also complicit in the action.
Photos of police aggression and of a student after being sprayed by CS gas were posted up on Warwick Free Education’s Twitter feed.
