Ankcorn takes DDO

Rob Ankcorn, a third-year PPE student, has been elected as the democracy and development officer (DDO) for 2014/15.

Yolly Chegwidden was also running for the position.

In his manifesto, Mr Ankcorn pledged to create a ‘universal SU (Warwick Students’ Union) loyalty card’ that can be used at all SU outlets.

The current DDO officer – Cosmo March, who has held the position for two years – will remain in office until August before the position is taken by Mr Ankcorn.

The DDO roles are described by Warwick Students’ Union as ‘encouraging and responding to student feedback regarding Union services’, the ‘oversight of Union communications’, and to ‘encourage involvement in Union democracy’.
