Mark Hole performs in Curiositea

Mark Hole has been featured in the latest episode of Coffee House Sessions, speaking with Amy Johnson about ex-girlfriends, tattoos and Kevin Spacey ahead of the release of his third album, People Change.

Mark Hole is a singer-songwriter from London, boasting a mellow, chilled-out vibe with calming vocals. He has built his own success and has already worked with the likes of RedOne and Steve Brown, also having toured with Tori Amos.

His album, titled People Change, will be his first to be professionally released. He told Warwick TV: “I [previously] did two albums but I only released them on Facebook. I had no money and I had no backing and nobody really knew who I was.”

He performed an intimate set in Curiositea in week five, which included songs from his album as well some covers such as Amazing Grace and I believe I Can Fly.

After his set he commented: “It was great, I really enjoyed myself! Everyone here is extremely lovely. This and Leicester have been the best so far.”

Coffee House Sessions are regular live music events for unsigned artists held in coffee houses around the UK, including Curiositea on Warwick campus.

Highlights of all the sessions at Curiositea, along with interviews with the artists, can be found on Warwick TV.
