Warwick Finance Team member dies

Erica Vickers, a long standing member of the Student Finance Team, has passed away after
being diagnosed with cancer.

Erica started her working life at the University back in 1978 within the Academic Office and
was known for her support towards staff throughout the University.

A University spokesperson said: “She was regarded by us all as the font of all knowledge for
all things fee and student finance related”.

“Erica was courageous in dealing with her illness and will be remembered by the team and
the wider University for her positive and unwavering commitment to Warwick”.

A book of condolence is in the Chaplaincy for all colleagues and those who remember her to
share their thoughts and reflections during this difficult time.
