Coventry bus times changed

Coventry bus routes, numbers and timetables are set to change in order to increase frequency on busier routes and make the network easier to understand.

Sunday 26 February will see changes to most bus services following a review by Centro, the organisation in charge of transport in the West Midlands. The 12 will continue to run every 15 minutes but at slightly different times with an increased service in the morning.

Centro have also launched a bus timetable app called ‘Network West Midlands’. The app allows users to find real-time bus timetables, traffic and service alerts, as well as finding the nearest stops.

Second-year student Chris Howell said: “I think I’ll actually use it from now on. It tells me times for all the bus stops… and a favourites section for the one you use most frequently.”

An exhibition explaining the changes will be taking place on Tuesday 21 February between 11 and 4 in University House. New timetables are available at the Pool Meadow Bus Station and on the Network West Midlands website.

Leamington buses, including the U1, will not be affected.
