I’ve already stalked you on the internet, I know how you were formed, I know you’re from Nottingham and I know that you’re Crystal Dreams EP is BOUM. Unperturbed by the internet’s ability to help writers everywhere voyeur all over your life as a band, what’s your favourite colour?

**Red**

Can you remember your last dream?

**Yeah it was about someone at work. I cant say anymore..**

Intriguing. Name your Top 3 biggest fears.

**Sharks in British waters, David Cameron and Ed Milliband**

Which shoegaze band do you prefer My Bloody Valentine or Ride and Why?

**MBV for me, never personally been a big fan or Ride. I love the sonic assault of MBV and the fact that Kevin Shields is a genius/mentallist.**

What’s your favourite bit of your own music and why.

**The part when we are in complete breakdown and everything is going off. It’s always good watching the crowd who don’t know whether to dance, stand still, hold their ears or just leave. Its great to get a reaction than getting nothing at all.**

Freud said ‘all art is a form of neuroses’ to what extent is that true for you? As in to what extent is your music a catharsis for your life?

**I think some of our lyrics can be a reflection on our reality but at the same time its not always the case. One of our tracks “Haunting Me” is about dreaming that you kill your wife in her sleep and that she will forever haunt you but you won’t care” so you can read in to that what you will.** **Without music life would be shocking. I can’t imagine not been completely immerged in music. I can’t understand that you can live your life watching soaps and repeats every night. I’m not saying that our music will change all that but it might. **

If you had to suffer from an attack of melancholia or lust, which would you choose?

**Considering we have 5 lads and one girl in the band I think an attack of melancholia would be for the best, the other one could be a problem.**

On your day off what do you like to do?

**Chris Davis likes to play on his laptop writing dubstep and bingo theme tunes, Karl likes to learn Arctic Monkeys covers, Chris Moore likes recording I AM LONO, Matt will be getting his tattoos sorted, katty would be on a boat in Amsterdam and I would be answering q&a’s from press.**

Ouch. Tell me your hopes for the future.

**We want the album to be heard by as many people as possible. We would like to get out to Europe and the states and do all the things that new bands do. We have our first UK tour coming up in October which we hope will be a good step up for us.**

Best case scenario for your day tomorrow would be…..

**Jools Holland calls and asks us to play our entire album on his show instead of Coldplay going on.**

**“I don’t want to see you like this” – The Joy Formidable (its on shuffle)**

Guilty pleasure??

**Shedloads, I like pop, really like Katy B, Hurts stuff like that. I use to be a proper music snob but now I just like stuff.**

What is your opinion on what has been dubbed as the ‘shoegaze revival’. Bands such as Yuck and Blanche Hudson Weekend as prime examples. Why do you think its happened now? Do you consider yourself a part of it?

**Yeah we are a part of it, we play guitars that sound like MBV & Slowdive. We have boy/girl vocals smothered in reverb, we don’t stare at our shoes, we put on a proper full on show, I like climbing stuff, someone called me a “mountain goat” at a recent gig as I have the knack of climbing strange objects/people. This has been on the cards for a while. Bands like Interpol, The Early Years, Amusement Parks on Fire, Glasvegas, The Horrors (Primary Colours especially), M83. All these bands have been around for a while that had a link to shoegaze but no one dare mention the name, now everyone is at it. Its just another term that journo’s like to use. We don’t want this “scene” to be one that celebrates itself, we want everyone to join the party.**

Favourite album of 20th Century?

**Interpol – Turn on the Bright Lights (the rest of the band would have very different opinions but they aren’t answering the questions ha!)**
