A Blagger’s Guide to Music: Ska

The third installment of [RaW’s](http://radio.warwick.ac.uk) a Blagger’s Guide to Music. This week – Ska, from its 1950s roots up to the present day.

Join Tasha and Danny, two jack-of-all-trades, as they attempt to educate themselves – and you – about the history of music, genre by genre.

Ever found yourself talking to a hot muso at a party who knows an
indecent amount about music, and just wished you knew enough to impress them? Danny definitely has. And so, having roped in Tasha, the two caring presenters propose to increase your chances with that indie drummer, or even that folk banjo-player!

Each week, they will take a type of music, delve into the dusty depths of archival research (Read: Wikipedia) and tell you everything you need to know about that genre, with a good measure of songs, from past to present, illustrating its development over the years.

Remember, you miss the show for even one week, and that could be your
soulmate lost. Think about it.
