Kebab shop fined for breaching food regulations

Kebabish, a fast food restaurant adjacent to Evolve in Spencer Street, Leamington Spa, has been fined £1,000 by council officers for breaching food and hygiene regulations, according to reports by both the Coventry Telegraph and Mercia Radio News.

Dilruba Ramzan, owner of Kebabish, confirms they have not “been closed down for hygiene reasons”. He states that “in six years of trading there has been only one problem, and we survive on student business” and hopes that his continued financial sponsorship of University clubs and societies and aims of providing “food that people enjoy” will guarantee the future success of his business.

They are allegedly guilty of seven offences. One student set up a Facebook group telling students to “be warned stayed away!!!!!”
