Leam students hit by arson

A student house in south Leamington became victim to an arson attack on Friday night. The arsonists, who were not identified, wheeled a rubbish bin onto the doorstep of the house and subsequently set it ablaze.

The fire brigade arrived on the scene promptly, after receiving several calls, and were able to put out the fire. Fortunately, no one was hurt in the incident.

Despite several witnesses to the incident, including a passing taxi driver who attempted to stop the blaze with an extinguisher, the police have no suspects or links to follow.
