Leamington FC: Brakes face Boston United to open 2020/21 season
National League North outfit Leamington FC will host Boston United at the Community Stadium to open the 2020/21 league season on Tuesday 6 October. The Brakes’ campaign will begin on Saturday 3 October in the FA Cup, with Leamington’s opponents yet to be confirmed.
Paul Holleran’s side then face Chester (A), Darlington (H), Farsley Celtic (A) and Gateshead (H) to round-off the opening month of the season. The first Warwickshire-Worcestershire derby of the year will take place on Tuesday 10 November, with the Brakes travelling to Kidderminster Harriers’ Aggborough Stadium.
Promotion hopefuls York City will travel to the Community Stadium on Saturday 28 September. The Brakes will enter the FA Trophy in the second round on Saturday 5 December.
The festive period sees Leamington travel to Bradford Park Avenue and Gloucester, before hosting Hereford on Boxing Day.
Holleran’s side travel to FA Cup giant killers Blyth Spartans to start February, while the second Warwickshire-Worcestershire derby of the season against Kidderminster is set to take place on Saturday 13 March at the Community Stadium.
Leamington will travel to York City on Monday 5 April, as fixtures start to mount towards the end of the season. The Brakes are due to play 12 times in April and May, with Holleran’s side ending the campaign at home against Blyth Spartans on Saturday 29 May.
