WBS launches new executive diploma at The Shard

Warwick Business School (WBS) has launched a new range of programmes at WBS London in The Shard. The diploma programmes address challenges faced by senior executives, and aim to deliver “ significant individual and organisational impact, and with the minimum disruption to participants’ working lives.”

WBS’s collaboration with executives – alongside the Bank of England and Deloitte – on “highly ranked MBA programmes” identifies issues facing organisations across the globe, and tackles them by a number of “strategic themes.”

The new programmes will be launched in 2019. The Warwick Diploma in Strategic Leadership links “the personal with the professional”, and “leadership with strategy”, and will be available in April. The Warwick Diploma in Digital Leadership, which will be introduced in May, seeks to overcome problems in “disruptive competition” during “digital transformation”.

Also starting in May, the Warwick Diploma in Organisational Change is founded on a “shifting competitive and regulatory landscape in which organisations are operating”, where “a reliance on just one model of change is no longer enough.”

Andy Lockett, Dean and Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy, said: “At WBS we constantly seek new ways to work with executives and organisations, share the results of our research and teaching, and create debate and dialogue which has a significant impact on management and leadership.

“I am delighted that our expansion within our WBS London home means that we can now announce the arrival of our Masters-level Postgraduate Diplomas for executives, each focussed on an area of strategic importance to businesses and organisations across the globe.”
