Michael Kynaston elected as Warwick SU Democracy and Development Officer

“Magic” Mike Kynaston has been elected as Democracy and Developmnet Officer at Warwick Students’ Union (SU) for the next academic year.

He beat three other candidates, Felix Lang, Ellie King and Sebastian Randell. He won 60% of the vote in the final round.

Mike has served on the SU Democracy exec this year as well as previously holding the roles of HistSoc President and Tour Secretary for the University’s Men’s Cricket Club.

Some of his manifesto points include improving on-campus eating and drinking facilities, lobbying Stagecoach to replace lost bus passes and bringing about the return of the Summer Party.
