You get saved by fit men. It’s always nice when people ask how your weekend was to answer something to do with being rescued, be it throw-lines, clinging to someone’s boat, or swimming in the Lake District in January into an eddy where someone will fish you out.

Free drinks!

You get free hot squash if you get hypothermic. Blackcurrant is usually the flavour in-line with our Purples from Pop circles. And blackcurrant ciders at Real Ale fest. Alcohol does make hypothermia worse as it expands blood vessels so squash is our sole drink of choice with which won’t get you drunk.

It’s the little things

Your parents will appreciate the fact you’re alive at Christmas. They will cherish you. If you’re lucky they will get you nice neoprene socks or even posher things like paddles. You will never believe how grateful you will be for socks. They will be as cherished as you are.

Brightening up your life

Our kit is the most colourful. End of. The more colourful the better, you will be found when you swim. You will embrace the clashes, be it turquoise with orange or red with green or fluorescent purple with blue. These colours will extend to your Pop outfits.
