Join two clubs in one!

Sub-Aqua is split into two: scuba diving and underwater hockey. If you love being underwater, this club is for you. This comes with a warning though: there is a bit of harmless rivalry between the two sections – which one will you choose?

Underwater what?

We all want to try new things at uni, right? So why not have a go at underwater hockey. This challenging sport is loads of fun, and always a conversation starter. Our student team is pretty good and currently third in the country!

How long can you hold your breath?

In our underwater hockey sessions, we’ll train you up so become an expert at swimming underwater and holding your breath. Apart from being extremely useful in a game situation, this is also a pretty handy party trick…

Travel the world

Our scuba diving club will take you diving on two foreign trips during the year, as well as many on the English coast. Whether you’re new to diving or would just like people to dive with, experience the beauty of fish and wrecks beneath the surface. Come dive with us!

We are social too!

Whether you’re a scuba diver, underwater hockey player or neither, everyone is welcome to attend our socials. We’re a close knit, friendly and fun club, who go for drinking and non-drinking socials. Catch onto our vibe at our taster sessions.
