Boar Sport Club Files: Men’s Hockey
We‘re the boys who make the most noise
Advice for incoming freshers
Throw yourself into anything and everything, get chatting and speak to anyone and everyone. Everybody’s in the same boat so there’s nothing to lose! Above all enjoy yourself as much as possible; you’re only fresh once. Oh and join Men’s Hockey.
Targets for next season
Promotion for all teams in MRHA (Saturday) Leagues whilst consolidating positions in competitive BUCS leagues. Maintaining our status as a leading sports club at the University, and raising the campus profile of the charity we support; the Alzheimer’s Society, who do fantastic work to combat a condition that affects thousands every day throughout the UK.

Social
Biggest Social Event
The annual Hockey Ball hosted in conjunction with the Ladies Hockey Club at the Leamington Spa Pump Rooms. Dress shirts aren’t meant to remain that white anyway.
Club BNOC (Big Name on Campus)
James Da Costa, AKA Bruno. Selected as the outright winner of a recent ‘choose your BNOC’ Boar article by democratic vote, Bruno is a certified big name at Warwick. Whether its securing a grad job at careers fairs as Vice-President of the Economics Society, or networking with anyone he makes eye contact with on a Wednesday in the SU’s Rouge Bar (watch out ladies), Bruno’s social status is never in doubt. Shame he’s taking a year abroad in Hong Kong next year, guess the Da Costa brand is going global.

Whoever let this guy write on behalf of the club is a mug. The club is well and truly dead, Anjan has been saying it for years.
