George Creasy announced as Societies Officer in elections

Third-year MORSE student George Creasy has been voted as the new Societies Officer in tonight’s Student’s Union (SU) elections.

Mr Creasy, whose past experience includes being this year’s president of Warwick’s Jailbreak society and volunteering with the university’s Inspire and Laksh projects, amongst other roles, fought off competition from three other candidates to win the position.

Mr Creasy’s policies aim to improve charity fundraising, promote student engagement with societies and the wider community, improve Exec training and development and better manage the society membership and ticketing systems.
