Warwick hosts journo conference

**The _Student Journals_, founded by Warwick student Siraj Datoo and City University graduate Ali Gokal, hosted its first ever conference last Saturday, in collaboration with the _Boar_.**

The conference brought together successful journalists from national publications, as well lecturers in Journalism from City University and Kingston University.

Amongst them were former Warwick students Carla Buzasi, editor of the Huffington Post UK and Dawn Foster, who works on the _Guardian_’s ‘Comment is Free’ section.

The event was held on campus and marked the _Student Journals_’ second birthday.
