Human remains found near University

Human remains have been discovered near the University of Warwick.

Police cordoned off an area in Wainbody Woods near Stoneleigh Road after a member of the public came across the remains whilst out walking their dog on Sunday morning.

The remains have been removed for examination by forensic experts and a pathologist. The _Boar_ went to the scene but were prevented from approaching the sealed off area. Police on the scene refused to comment on any further developments.

DI Stuart Bell told the _Coventry Telegraph_ that: “The remains have been confirmed as human and the death is being treated as unexplained at this stage.

“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the deceased.”
