Django Django
This impressive debut from the East London four piece is riddled with an audible range of influences, from the tribal-dancefloor beats of ‘Waveforms’ to the spaghetti western guitars of ‘WOR’. Yet this variety is held together by compelling vocals- Beach Boys harmonies in abundance. It’s a rhythmically conscious guitar album- lead single ‘Default’ would fit right in at an indie disco- but the more delicate moments (‘Hand of Man’) sit comfortably thanks to the consistent strength of the vocal harmonies.
