Warwick students react to the selfie spoon

The selfie stick – the gadget that enables you to take the perfect picture of yourself – has officially acquired a cooler, even more pointless sibling: the selfie spoon.

This latest invention allows selfie and food enthusiasts to combine their interests in a single shot; one end being a spoon, the other a camera holder.

Here is what Warwick students have to say about this newest fad:

Do you own a selfie stick?
Yes, I’ve used it three times.

No, but only because my phone doesn’t fit in one.

About 30 quid.

Unfortunately to those now hoping to become the proud owners of a “spelfie”, the product has seen immense popularity and is currently sold out.

As for the price, all our interviewees were wrong: the selfie spoon is free. Cinnamon Toast Crunch, an American cereal brand, are the geniuses behind this project, and all you have to do is pay for the shipping.
