BREAKING: All Student Vote results released

The summer All Student Vote results have been released by the SU. Voting was open from Tuesday and closed midday on Friday.

Both motions, on wellbeing and opposition to changes to the Residential Life Team (RLT), passed but will not be acted upon as turnout did not reach the required minimum levels.

The results, as published by the SU, are as follows.

Number of Individual Voters: 448
Total Number of Votes: 888

Motion one: Warwick Wellbeing Strategy Review
Total Votes: 440

For: 394
Against:27
Abstain:19

Motion two: Save the RLT: Halt Staff Evictions and Protect Campus Welfare Support
Total Votes: 448

For: 411
Against:21
Abstain:16

Both motions did not reach quoracy. This means, according to the SU website, both policies: “will not become official SU policy,’ but the SU will be investigating to: “best represent students’ interests on these issues.”
