A 26 year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of rape, and is currently on bail until Tuesday 7 April, according to Warwickshire Police.

The police continue their appeal for information from members of the public who may have been in the area the evening the incident occurred.

Detective Chief Inspector Pete Hill said: “I am particularly keen to hear from a male dog walker who walked passed the victim as she walked along the riverside footpath in the direction of the leisure centre.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who used the footpath between 5pm and 7pm on Friday 13th March 2015 as they may hold valuable information that could assist identifying the attacker.”
